COLD WEATHER PROTOCOLS

We're a tough lot on the prairies. But even we must occasionally succumb to the nastier bits of winter. There are a handful of days each winter that are simply too cold to safely train. The club's policy on cold weather follows...
-training sessions are canceled when the combination of temperature and wind chill reaches minus 25 Celsius.
-All club members will refer to Environment Canada's Roblin, Manitoba website
http://weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/mb-32_metric_e.html

Please make arrangements to call someone if you have no access to the web.
-At temperatures approaching -25, training sessions may be shortened or otherwise adapted to deal with extreme conditions.
-Coaching fees will not be reimbursed in the event of weather cancellations. (We seldom cancel more than one day a winter, and the club still has expenses to cover).
-If you have any questions, please call Nigel or Kirsti at the following numbers...
Simms Cabin (weekends): 204-937-3968.
Nigel's cell: 306-533-1938
Kirsti's cell: 204-688-4642
